​"Tundra"

Tundra is quite simply my heart dog. She was born in November of 2022 and as a 5 week old puppy she screamed that she wanted to stay and that was that. From very early on it was obvious that she was something very special. There was no denying that this girl had "IT" and that she would exceed all expectations. In the beginning I had no plans of showing her in AKC. I was simply looking for my next UKC show prospect and it became very apparent that this girl was destined for more. She took multiple BIS and RBIS puppy wins in UKC and even a GROUP TWO on the day she turned 6 months old. She was a firecracker from the start and that was only the beginning. Then came the AKC shows where she finished her AKC Championship at only 8 months old in 3 weekends out along with a BEST IN SHOW Owner Handled! We finished the 2023 year (with only two weekends out) as the #10 Owner handled miniature poodle. In 2024 we knocked her grand championship out early on with only 3 weekends. She has taken multiple BOV wins over specials and been an easy show dog all her life. Tundra is also quite accomplished in UKC having been the #4 miniature poodle in UKC in 2023. She is a Ruby Grand Champion and is very close to her Sapphire title. She's won multiple best in show wins, reserve best in show wins and even was best of breed and reserve best in show at our national specialty in Kalamazoo MI in 2024. Tundra is no where near finished and we are just getting started. We also have earned the Silver level of achievement in the National Owner Handled Series which means that we have earned 500 Owner Handled points. This is all nothing in comparison to her fabulous, biddable and happy temperament. This girl oozes "poodle" type in both structure and demeanor and she is a hard girl to deny when she wants something! Keep an eye out for her in both the UKC and AKC rings in the remainder of 2024 and in 2025 as we have no plans to retire her anytime soon!
